This read-create value controls whether loop detection is enabled for a SLEP interface, using the JuniEnable enable/disable convention. When enabled, the interface is brought down if a loop condition is detected on it, protecting the fabric from the broadcast storms a physical loop can cause; the default is disable, which leaves that protection off. For example, an admin worried about accidental loops on a given SLEP interface would set juniSlepDownWhenLooped to enable so the interface automatically shuts down if a loop is detected, instead of leaving it at the disable default.
