Description: The tunnel phase-2 remote identity type. The tunnel remote identity type may be identified by: 1. an IP address, or 2. an IP address subnet, or 3. an IP address range.
What is juniIpsecTunnelRemoteIdType?
This selects how the tunnel's Phase-2 remote identity (the protected traffic selector at the peer) is expressed: a single address, an address subnet, or an address range, defaulting to idIpv4Addr(1). An admin sets this to match whatever traffic selector the remote peer's IPsec policy defines, e.g. its own local subnet.
