ifIn1SecRate
Module: JUNIPER-IF-MIB
OID (symbolic): JUNIPER-IF-MIB::ifIn1SecRate
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.3.3.1.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Gauge32
Access: read-only
Description: The number of bits per second (bps), delivered by this (sub-)layer to its next higher (sub-)layer.
What is ifIn1SecRate?
A 1-second-sampled gauge of the inbound bit rate (bps) this interface is currently delivering up to the next higher protocol layer. Because it's a fresh 1-second sample rather than a long-run average, admins use it to see near-real-time throughput spikes that a 5-minute SNMP poll of ifInOctets would smooth away.
