What is jnxIdpSensorSessMaximum?

This value reports the maximum number of concurrent sessions the IDP sensor is capable of tracking. It gives an admin the fixed capacity figure needed to compute utilization from jnxIdpSensorSessAllocated and to plan hardware sizing for expected traffic volume. For example, a sensor rated for 500,000 sessions may need an upgrade if peak allocated sessions regularly approach that ceiling.
