What is jnxIdpSensorSessAllocated?

This value reports the number of sessions currently allocated for tracking by the IDP sensor. Comparing it to jnxIdpSensorSessMaximum tells an admin how close the sensor is to running out of session capacity, which would cause new connections to bypass inspection or be dropped. For example, seeing 495,000 allocated against a 500,000 maximum indicates the session table is nearly full.
