Module: JUNIPER-COS-MIB

OID (symbolic): JUNIPER-COS-MIB::jnxCosIfsetQstatLpRedDropByteRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.3.15.10.1.42

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CounterBasedGauge64

Access: read-only

Description: The rate (expressed in bytes per second) at which low PLP TCP bytes were RED-dropped at the output on the given interface.

What is jnxCosIfsetQstatLpRedDropByteRate?

Current rate, in bytes per second, at which low-drop-precedence traffic is being RED-dropped from a specific output queue on a logical interface (ifl/child interface) in jnxCosIfsetQstatTable, rather than the whole physical interface under tri-color marking. (Juniper's own DESCRIPTION text for this counter says "TCP bytes", but that wording is copy-pasted from the TCP-specific byte counters above it in the same table; by object name and table position this is the tri-color drop-precedence counter, which is not protocol-specific.)

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.3.15.10.1.42
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> JUNIPER-COS-MIB::jnxCosIfsetQstatLpRedDropByteRate

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.3.15.10.1.42.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> JUNIPER-COS-MIB::jnxCosIfsetQstatLpRedDropByteRate.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> jnxCosIfsetQstatLpRedDropByteRate.1
