jailIndex

Module: JAILS-MIB

OID (symbolic): JAILS-MIB::jailIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.12325.1.1111.2.1.0

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: Index of this jailEntry.

What is jailIndex?

This read-only Integer32 is the index of this jailEntry, as stated in its source description, uniquely identifying one row in the table of running jails. An admin uses it while walking jailTable to correlate a given jail's host name, traffic counters, and resource usage columns back to the same jail instance. For instance, jailIndex might return 2 for the second running jail, and all other columns fetched at index 2 describe that same jail.
