Module: ITOUCH-EVENT-MIB
OID (symbolic): ITOUCH-EVENT-MIB::eventDisableAll
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.33.33.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: When this object is set to execute, all events groups are disabled. Setting this object to ready has no effect.
What is eventDisableAll?
Setting this object to execute(2) disables all event groups on the device at once; setting it to ready(1) has no effect. Admins use it to quickly silence all event logging, for example during planned maintenance to avoid a flood of expected alarms. For example, an admin might SET this to execute(2) before a maintenance window and later re-enable specific groups afterward.
