OID (symbolic): ITOUCH-EVENT-MIB::eventClearLog

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.33.33.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Access: read-write

Description: When this object is set to execute, all events are cleared from the event table. Setting this object to ready has no effect.

What is eventClearLog?

Setting this object to execute(2) clears all events from the device's event table; setting it to ready(1) has no effect. Admins use this to purge the event log, for instance after resolving an issue, so future polling only shows fresh events. For example, an admin would SET this to execute(2) right after reviewing and addressing a batch of logged alarms to start with a clean log.
