Module: ISOVIEW-MIB

OID (symbolic): ISOVIEW-MIB::timeExceededLastTx

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.10.2.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

What is timeExceededLastTx?

A read-only 13-byte OCTET STRING timestamp recording when the station last sent an ICMP Time Exceeded message, the transmit-side counterpart to timeExceededLastRx. The source MIB has no DESCRIPTION text for this or any other object, so this reading is inferred from the object's name, type, and position in the real MIB tree. It marks the last time this router itself dropped a packet whose TTL expired in transit.
