tftpRetryPeriod

Module: ISOVIEW-MIB

OID (symbolic): ISOVIEW-MIB::tftpRetryPeriod

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.11.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

What is tftpRetryPeriod?

A read-write INTEGER (0..65535) setting the interval between TFTP retry attempts during the station's network boot process, paired with tftpRetryCount. The source MIB has no DESCRIPTION text for this or any other object, so this reading is inferred from the object's name, type, and position in the real MIB tree. An admin tunes it to control how quickly the station retries a failed TFTP transfer versus how much time it gives each attempt to complete.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ISOVIEW-MIB::tftpRetryPeriod

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.11.8.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ISOVIEW-MIB::tftpRetryPeriod.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
