tftpRetryCount

Module: ISOVIEW-MIB

OID (symbolic): ISOVIEW-MIB::tftpRetryCount

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.11.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

What is tftpRetryCount?

A read-write INTEGER (0..65535) setting how many times the station retries a TFTP transfer (of its boot image) before giving up. The source MIB has no DESCRIPTION text for this or any other object, so this reading is inferred from the object's name, type, and position in the real MIB tree. An admin raises it on a network where TFTP transfers occasionally fail or time out, to improve boot reliability.
