serialLoadPeriod
Module: ISOVIEW-MIB
OID (symbolic): ISOVIEW-MIB::serialLoadPeriod
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.7.28
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
What is serialLoadPeriod?
A read-write INTEGER setting the measurement period the bridge uses when evaluating serial-link load against maxSerialLoading. The source MIB has no DESCRIPTION text for this or any other object, so this reading is inferred from the object's name, type, and position in the real MIB tree. An admin tunes it to control how responsive the load-limiting mechanism is to short traffic bursts versus sustained load.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.7.28 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ISOVIEW-MIB::serialLoadPeriod
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.7.28.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ISOVIEW-MIB::serialLoadPeriod.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.7.28.1 i <value>
