resetStats

Module: ISOVIEW-MIB

OID (symbolic): ISOVIEW-MIB::resetStats

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

What is resetStats?

A read-write INTEGER that, when set, clears the station's statistics counters (such as the LAPB, IEEE 802.3, and bridge counters found elsewhere in this MIB) back to zero. The source MIB has no DESCRIPTION text for this or any other object, so this reading is inferred from the object's name, type, and position in the real MIB tree. An admin uses it to get a clean baseline before starting a troubleshooting session.
