newPhysBlkSize

Module: ISOVIEW-MIB

OID (symbolic): ISOVIEW-MIB::newPhysBlkSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

What is newPhysBlkSize?

A read-write INTEGER (300..1600) used to request a new physical block size for the WAN link; its sibling physBlkSize reports the size currently in effect. The source MIB has no DESCRIPTION text for this or any other object, so this reading is inferred from the object's name, type, and position in the real MIB tree. An admin writes this object and then likely needs to reset the station (resetStation) for the new block size to take effect.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ISOVIEW-MIB::newPhysBlkSize

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ISOVIEW-MIB::newPhysBlkSize.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.170.1.1.1.1.6.1 i <value>
