Description: The total number of packets dropped during receive processing by this ipsec Phase-2 Tunnel. This count does NOT include packets dropped due to Anti-Replay processing.

What is ipsecTunHistInDropPkts?

Total packets dropped during receive processing by this ended Phase-2 (IPsec) tunnel, kept as a history record (the value no longer changes), not counting anti-replay drops. A rising value means inbound IPsec traffic is being discarded for reasons such as unknown SAs or bad packets, so correlate it with the authentication and decryption failure counts.
