Description: The window size of the ipsec Phase-1 and Phase-2 History Tables.
The ipsec Phase-1 and Phase-2 History Tables are implemented as a sliding window in which only the last n entries are maintained. This object is used specify the number of entries which will be maintained in the ipsec Phase-1 and Phase-2 History Tables.
When modified by an SNMP SET request, the device will set the value of this object as close as possible to the requested value based on the implementation and available resources.
What is ipsecHistTableSize?
Writable number of entries kept in the Phase-1 and Phase-2 history tables, which keep only the last n ended tunnels as a sliding window. Raise it, e.g. to 200, to retain longer outage history; the device may set a value close to but not exactly what you ask based on resources.
