usrIpxEnable
Module: IPXHOST-MIB
OID (symbolic): IPXHOST-MIB::usrIpxEnable
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.4.16
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: To enable or disable IPX. When Disable is set the RIP process will send out shutdown messages on all its ports in order to inform neighboring routers that our routes are no longer valid.
What is usrIpxEnable?
Enables or disables the IPX protocol on the device; disabling causes RIP to send shutdown messages on all ports so neighboring routers stop treating this router's routes as valid. Use this to cleanly take a router's IPX routing out of service instead of just powering it off.
