Description: The protocol unique name associated with this interface. This name is limited to 31 characters and may appear in other protocol interface entries such as IP and Appletalk but MAY NOT be duplicated within the cjnIpxIfTable. In other words, other protocols can use this interface name but IPX may only have this name associated with one interface.
What is cjnIpxIfName?
This read-create DisplayString, limited to 31 characters, gives the protocol-unique name associated with an IPX interface, and per the description it may be shared with other protocol interface entries like IP or AppleTalk but must be unique within the cjnIpxIfTable itself. It lets administrators refer to interfaces by a consistent logical name across multiple protocol stacks on the same box. An admin might name an interface "Vlan20-IPX" to make clear in CLI output which VLAN it corresponds to while keeping the name distinct from any other IPX interface.
