ipoaLisRowStatus

Module: IPOA-MIB

OID (symbolic): IPOA-MIB::ipoaLisRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.46.1.2.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-create

Description: This object allows entries to be created and deleted in the ipoaLisTable.

When the ipoaLisRowStatus deleted (by setting this object to destroy(6)), this has the side-effect of removing all entries from the ipNetToMediaTable that are associated with this LIS (in other words, it flushes the entity's ATMARP cache). It also removes the ipoaVcTable entries that were associated with those ipNetToMediaTable entries. Destroying the row also

removes the corresponding entries in the ipoaArpSrvrTable, ipoaArpClientTable, ipoaLisIfMappingTable, and ipoaArpRemoteSrvrTable.

Entries in both the ipNetToMediaTable and the ipoaVcTable that are associated with a ipoaConfigPvcEntry are not affected by changes to ipoaLisRowStatus.

What is ipoaLisRowStatus?

Creates or destroys this LIS entry; destroying it also flushes every ARP-cache entry, VC, and related ARP-client/-server/-remote-server row tied to this subnet, so removing a LIS is a significant cleanup operation, not just a label change.
