ipfOutRule
Module: IPFILTER
OID (symbolic): IPFILTER::ipfOutRule
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.2.2.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-only
Description: Textual representation of the outgoing IP Filter rule
What is ipfOutRule?
This is the textual representation of one outgoing IP Filter rule, showing the actual filter syntax being applied to outbound traffic. An admin reads this to verify exactly what filtering logic is in effect for outbound connections without needing shell access to the host. For example, ipfOutRule might return a string like pass out on le0 from 192.168.1.0/24 to any, confirming outbound traffic from that subnet is permitted.
