ipfInIndex
Module: IPFILTER
OID (symbolic): IPFILTER::ipfInIndex
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.2.1.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Reference index for each incoming IP Filter rule
What is ipfInIndex?
This is the reference index uniquely identifying each rule in the IP Filter's incoming rule table on this UCD-SNMP-monitored host. An admin uses it as the table key to correlate a specific incoming filter rule with its text (ipfInRule) and hit counter (ipfInHits) when querying the device. For example, ipfInIndex value 3 would let an admin pull the exact rule text and hit count for the third configured inbound filter rule.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.2.1.1.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IPFILTER::ipfInIndex
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.2.1.1.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IPFILTER::ipfInIndex.1
