This trap is sent when the remote unit for a DLCI senses and reports an SOS condition.

What is ipadDLCIremoteSOSAlarm?

This notification is sent when the remote end of a Frame Relay DLCI (Data Link Connection Identifier) detects and reports an SOS (Service Out of Service) condition, indicating severe circuit impairment. The trap includes information about the active equipment status at the remote site. Operators use this to quickly identify Frame Relay service degradation at remote locations and initiate troubleshooting.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' IPADv2-MIB::ipadDLCIremoteSOSAlarm
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.321.100.1.999.0.25019

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
