riTsPortBaudIn

Module: INXNTS-MIB

OID (symbolic): INXNTS-MIB::riTsPortBaudIn

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.28.4.28.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The baud rate for data received by the port, in bits per second (bps).

If you want the INX-NTS to automatically determine baud rates, you can configure it to do so by setting this variable to 0. If this variable returns 0, automatic baud rate determination is already in effect. If this variable returns a value other than 0, that value is the current baud rate. The default baud rate is 9600.

Note: The INX-NTS uses only a single baud rate parameter, which is used in both directions. Therefore, you cannot set this variable and the following one, Baud Rate for Transmitted Data, to different values; the INX-NTS will use whichever value was last received by the management agent as the baud rate.

What is riTsPortBaudIn?

The baud rate used for data received on this serial port; set to 0 to enable auto-baud detection instead of a fixed rate. Because the INX-NTS shares one physical baud setting for in/out, this always ends up matching whichever of the in/out baud variables was set most recently.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.28.4.28.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> INXNTS-MIB::riTsPortBaudIn

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.28.4.28.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> INXNTS-MIB::riTsPortBaudIn.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.28.4.28.1.7.1 i <value>
