riThUniqueIndex

Module: INXNTS-MIB

OID (symbolic): INXNTS-MIB::riThUniqueIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.28.17.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Setting this variable creates a new entry in the Threshold table. You must type a number for the entry when you set this variable, but the INX-NTS assigns the actual entry number; that number is the one returned in the response to the set command. If you read this variable, it returns the number of the most recently generated threshold entry. Each threshold entry must have a unique index number, but the number assigned to an entry can be reused after you have deleted it.

What is riThUniqueIndex?

Set this variable, with any placeholder number, to create a new threshold-table entry; the INX-NTS assigns the real index and echoes it back in the set response, and reading this variable returns the most recently created entry's index.
