Description: The number of out-of-range length errors received. IEEE 802.3 frames contain a length field, indicating the length of the frame. If the length of the frame is outside 802.3 parameters, the receiving device returns an out-of-range error. The INX-NTS receives Ethernet frames that do not have a length in the length field. It therefore cannot detect this error, and this variable always returns 0.
What is dot3XRxOutOfRangeLengthFields?
Meant to count frames whose length field fell outside valid 802.3 bounds; the INX-NTS's received frames lack a checkable length field, so this always returns 0.
