tnState

Module: INXNMM-MIB

OID (symbolic): INXNMM-MIB::tnState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.28.3.2.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Shows the state of the session. This variable always returns serverActive(1), which indicates that the INX-NMM is the telnet server and that a session is active, i.e., the user has logged in to this end of the connection.

What is tnState?

Reports the session's state, but since the INX-NMM only ever functions as the telnet server and this object only exists for active sessions, it is always fixed at serverActive(1), confirming a logged-in user is present rather than distinguishing multiple states.
