Description: Whether an active device is attached to this port. The device's MAU should generate a 100-ns pulse every 8 to 16 msec. This pulse is detected by the INX-10BT or INX-FOIRL when it polls the port. If the pulse is detected, this variable returns link-status-led-on(1). If the pulse is not detected, this variable returns link-status-led-off(2).

What is riPortLinkStatus?

Reports whether the port is currently detecting the periodic link-integrity pulse (every 8-16ms) that an active connected device's MAU should generate, giving admins the same link-up/down signal as the physical LED on the module.
