riLdcSlotBus

Module: INXNMM-MIB

OID (symbolic): INXNMM-MIB::riLdcSlotBus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.28.10.10.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The internal Ethernet bus connected to the NIC of the logic module. The values have the following meanings: o bus-a(2) indicates that the NIC is connected to Bus A. o bus-b(3) indicates that the NIC is connected to Bus B. o other(200) indicates that the slot is empty.

After you set this variable, you must reboot the module with the Desired Logic Module State variable for the new setting to take effect. If you set this variable and then read it without rebooting, the old setting is returned. If you set one of these values for the INX-CMM or INX-LBR, it is accepted but has no effect on the INX-CMM's or INX-LBR's operation, because it has no bus connection and the INX-LBR is not currently configurable from the INX-NMM

What is riLdcSlotBus?

Selects which internal Ethernet backplane bus (A or B) the module's network interface is wired to; changing it only takes effect after the module is rebooted via riLdcSlotAdminStatus, so an admin reads it back first to confirm the pending change was accepted.
