Module: INXNMM-MIB

OID (symbolic): INXNMM-MIB::dot3XTxTDR

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.3.3.4.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge

Access: read-only

Description: The status of Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) on the INX-NMM. TDR is the ability of a device to check the viability of a cable by sending a signal to the end of the cable. The INX-NMM interface does not support Time Domain Reflectometry, so this variable always returns 0.

What is dot3XTxTDR?

Is meant to report the result of a Time-Domain-Reflectometry cable test that measures cable length/faults by echo timing; the INX-NMM interface doesn't implement TDR, so this gauge always returns 0 and can't be used to check cable integrity.
