dot3InitializeMAC

Module: INXNMM-MIB

OID (symbolic): INXNMM-MIB::dot3InitializeMAC

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.3.3.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The initialization status of the MAC and PLS subsystems of the interface. Because the MAC and PLS subsystems on the INX-NMM are initialized at power-up and remain so, this variable always returns initialized(1).

What is dot3InitializeMAC?

Reports whether the Ethernet MAC/PLS subsystem has completed initialization; because the INX-NMM initializes these once at power-up and never re-initializes them in the field, this always reads back initialize(1), functioning as a fixed confirmation rather than a live reset control.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> INXNMM-MIB::dot3InitializeMAC

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.3.3.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> INXNMM-MIB::dot3InitializeMAC.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.3.3.1.1.2.1 i <value>
