confIfCreateObj

Module: INTEL-RSVP-MIB

OID (symbolic): INTEL-RSVP-MIB::confIfCreateObj

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.33.1.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: Create a non existing table entry. If the entry already exist, genError is returned. Binary format: 1 byte : confIfUdpEncap 2 bytes : confIfRsvpTotalBw 2 bytes : confIfMaxBwPerFlow

What is confIfCreateObj?

This read-write value creates a new RSVP-link configuration table entry by writing a packed 5-byte string that combines the UDP encapsulation flag, total RSVP bandwidth percentage, and maximum bandwidth per flow in a single operation. Writing it to an interface that already has a configuration entry returns a genError, so it's used strictly for initial provisioning of a new RSVP-enabled interface. For example, an admin writes a 5-byte value encoding UDP encapsulation enabled plus specific bandwidth limits to bring up RSVP configuration on a newly added link.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.33.1.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-RSVP-MIB::confIfCreateObj

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.33.1.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-RSVP-MIB::confIfCreateObj.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.33.1.1.1.2.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> confIfCreateObj.1
