confIgmpPruPortEnabled
Module: INTEL-IGMP-PRUNING-MIB
OID (symbolic): INTEL-IGMP-PRUNING-MIB::confIgmpPruPortEnabled
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.35.1.3.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The state of IGMP pruning operation on this port. The value enabled(1) indicates that IGMP pruning is enabled on this port, in all VLANs, as long as confIgmpPruEnabled is also enabled for this device. When disabled(2) but confIgmpPruEnabled is still enabled for the device, IGMP pruning is disabled on this port in all VLANs.
What is confIgmpPruPortEnabled?
This read-write value sets the state of IGMP pruning on this specific port, with enabled(1) turning pruning on for the port in all VLANs (provided the device-wide confIgmpPruEnabled is also enabled) and disabled(2) turning it off on just this port. Admins use it for per-port overrides, for example disabling pruning on an uplink port that must always forward all multicast traffic while leaving pruning enabled elsewhere. For example, setting confIgmpPruPortEnabled to disabled(2) on a trunk port connecting to a multicast router ensures that port keeps receiving all multicast streams regardless of IGMP membership reports.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.35.1.3.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-IGMP-PRUNING-MIB::confIgmpPruPortEnabled
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.35.1.3.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-IGMP-PRUNING-MIB::confIgmpPruPortEnabled.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.35.1.3.1.2.1 i <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> confIgmpPruPortEnabled.1
