OID (symbolic): INT-SERV-MIB::intSrvFlowDiscard

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.52.1.2.1.22

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: If 'true', the flow is to incur loss when traffic is policed. If 'false', policed traff- ic is treated as best effort traffic.

What is intSrvFlowDiscard?

If true, out-of-profile traffic on this flow is dropped when policed; if false (the default), it's demoted to best-effort instead of being dropped. An admin sets this to true for strict QoS enforcement where exceeding the reservation should mean loss rather than degraded delivery.
