Description:
The number of times a near-end receive failure alarm condition has been entered on this link (i.e., LIF, LODS, RFI-IMA, Mis-Connected, or some form of implementation specific receive fault) in one of the previous 96, individual 15 minute, intervals.
What is imaLinkIntervalNeRxNumFailures?
This OID counts how many times the nearby end of an Inverse Multiplexing over ATM (IMA) link experienced receive failures during each 15-minute measurement interval. These failures include signal loss or misconnected circuits; tracking them shows link quality over time. An operator would review this metric to diagnose intermittent connection problems or to validate that repairs actually fixed a failing link.
