dot3adAggAdminDiscardWrongConversation
Module: IEEE8023-LAG-MIB
OID (symbolic): IEEE8023-LAG-MIB::dot3adAggAdminDiscardWrongConversation
OID (numeric): 1.2.840.10006.300.43.1.1.3.1.24
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-write
Description: The administrative value that determines what the Aggregator does with a frame that is received from an Aggregation Port with a Port Conversation ID that is not included in the Collection_Conversation_Mask. The value 'TRUE' indicates that such frames are to be discarded, and the value 'FALSE' that they are to be forwarded. This variable needs to be set to 'TRUE', if bidirectional congruity (8.2.1) is required. Its value is set to 'TRUE' by default. This object has been replaced by dot3adAggAdminDiscardWrongConversation2.
What is dot3adAggAdminDiscardWrongConversation?
Controls, for frames arriving on a member port whose Port Conversation ID isn't included in the collection mask, whether this (now deprecated) object discards them (TRUE, needed for bidirectional congruity) or forwards them (FALSE); it has been superseded by dot3adAggAdminDiscardWrongConversation2.
