What is ieee8021MstpCistMaxHops?
The maximum number of bridge hops (6-40) a BPDU can traverse within this MSTP region before being discarded, bounding how large a single region can grow; this value must survive a reboot, so changing it is a real, persistent topology decision rather than a transient setting.
