ieee8021AsPortDSCurrentLogPdelayReqInterval

Module: IEEE8021-AS-MIB

OID (symbolic): IEEE8021-AS-MIB::ieee8021AsPortDSCurrentLogPdelayReqInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.20.1.5.1.29

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: For full-duplex, IEEE 802.3 media and CSN media that use the peer delay mechanism to measure path delay (see E.4.3.1), the value is the logarithm to the base 2 of the current Pdelay_Req message transmission interval, see 11.5.2.2.

For all other media, the value is 127.

The contents of this variable SHALL be maintained across a restart of the system.

What is ieee8021AsPortDSCurrentLogPdelayReqInterval?

The log-base-2 interval this port is currently using to send Pdelay_Req messages for path-delay measurement, or 127 on media that don't use peer delay. Read this to confirm the actual delay-request cadence a port has negotiated.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.20.1.5.1.29
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IEEE8021-AS-MIB::ieee8021AsPortDSCurrentLogPdelayReqInterval

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.20.1.5.1.29.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IEEE8021-AS-MIB::ieee8021AsPortDSCurrentLogPdelayReqInterval.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ieee8021AsPortDSCurrentLogPdelayReqInterval.1
