ieee8021AsCurrentDSTimeOfLastGmFreqChangeEvent

Module: IEEE8021-AS-MIB

OID (symbolic): IEEE8021-AS-MIB::ieee8021AsCurrentDSTimeOfLastGmFreqChangeEvent

OID (numeric): 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.20.1.2.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TimeStamp

Access: read-only

Description: This timestamp denotes the system time when the most recent change in grandmaster phase occured, due to a change of either the grandmaster or the grandmaster time base. This timestamp is updated when the PortAnnounceInformation state machine enters the SUPERIOR_MASTER_PORT state or the INFERIOR_MASTER_OR_OTHER_PORT state (see 10.3.11 and Figure 10-13), and when the ieee802AsCurrentDSGmTimebaseIndicator managed object (see 14.3.5) changes.

What is ieee8021AsCurrentDSTimeOfLastGmFreqChangeEvent?

The sysUpTime timestamp of the most recent change in grandmaster frequency, caused by a grandmaster or timebase switch. Useful for correlating a frequency-related sync anomaly with the event that caused it.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.20.1.2.13
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IEEE8021-AS-MIB::ieee8021AsCurrentDSTimeOfLastGmFreqChangeEvent

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.20.1.2.13.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IEEE8021-AS-MIB::ieee8021AsCurrentDSTimeOfLastGmFreqChangeEvent.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ieee8021AsCurrentDSTimeOfLastGmFreqChangeEvent.1
