What is ibTrapSeverity?

A notification-only varbind reporting the severity of the condition that triggered the trap, ranging from indetermined(1) up through info(2), minor(3), major(4), to critical(5). This lets alarm-management systems automatically triage incoming traps, escalating critical(5) events for immediate attention while logging info(2) events for reference only. A trap carrying ibTrapSeverity critical(5) would typically page an on-call admin immediately, whereas one carrying minor(3) might just appear in a dashboard.
