shdslPortTypeConfig

Module: HWMUSA-SHDSL-CO-MIB

OID (symbolic): HWMUSA-SHDSL-CO-MIB::shdslPortTypeConfig

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.2.6.7.4.4.1.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object is not allowed to set when the associated port is in service (PVC) or its state is not deactived.When the port is set to a kind of type,its modem cpe interface should be the same type as the port.

What is shdslPortTypeConfig?

This read-write enumerated value configures the physical interface type of an SHDSL port on the device, either shdsl-e1(0) for an E1-framed interface or shdsl-v35(1) for a V.35 serial interface. The setting must match the connected CPE modem's interface type, and it cannot be changed while the port is actively carrying a PVC or is not yet deactivated, so admins must take the port down before switching modes. For example, an admin migrating a port from a V.35-connected modem to an E1-connected one would first deactivate the port, then set shdslPortTypeConfig to shdsl-e1(0) to match the new CPE.

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.2.6.7.4.4.1.1.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HWMUSA-SHDSL-CO-MIB::shdslPortTypeConfig.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.2.6.7.4.4.1.1.1.1.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> shdslPortTypeConfig.1
