This read-only value reports the remote MPLS label learned from the far-end PE for this VPLS virtual circuit. An admin reads it to confirm the pseudowire's remote label was successfully signaled, since a value of zero or an unexpected value would indicate the far end has not signaled this VC properly. For example, an admin troubleshooting a VC stuck in a down state would check whether this remote label was ever populated to determine whether signaling with the far-end PE succeeded.
