What is hwVOPSNRMarginConfProfTargetSnrmDs?
Target downstream noise margin, in 0.1 dB steps from 0 to 31.0 dB (default 6.0 dB), that the xTU-R receiver must achieve relative to the BER requirement for each downstream bearer to successfully complete initialization (TARSNRMds, G.997.1 7.3.1.3.1); raising it makes the line train more conservatively, sacrificing some rate for a bigger safety cushion against noise.
