Description: The selection of system log filter type.

What is syslogPolicyType?

This selects what category of system log a policy filters: all(1) logs, userOperSyslog(2) for user operation logs, or callSyslog(3) for call-related logs. An admin sets this to narrow a policy down to a specific kind of event, for example isolating call-processing logs from general user operation logs when troubleshooting a specific subsystem. Setting syslogPolicyType to callSyslog(3) on a policy would make it collect only call-related log entries, filtering out user operation and other log types.
