Description: BDI is generated at the trail termination source point of a return path in response to a defect detected at the trail termination sink point of an LSP in the forwarding direction. The frequency of BDI can be set by user. 1: per-second; 2: same as detect frequency.
What is hwMplsOamIgrBDIFreq?
This read-create enumeration (perSecond or detectFrequency) sets how often Backward Defect Indication packets are sent from the sink back toward this LSP's ingress after a defect is found. Admins choose detectFrequency to match the BDI rate to the same interval already configured for CV/FFD detection, or perSecond for a fixed once-a-second rate regardless of the detection frequency.
