hwVLANMibClearVidStatistics

Module: HUAWEI-L3VLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-L3VLAN-MIB::hwVLANMibClearVidStatistics

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.100.1.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Setting the object to clear(1) will clear the counters of a row of the hwVLANMibRoutertVlanCountTable. When a clear action had been finished, or there is no clear action , the value of the object would be unavailable(0).

What is hwVLANMibClearVidStatistics?

This writable value triggers a reset of the packet transmit/receive counters for a specific VLAN-and-port row in the statistics table. Administrators set it to clear(1) to zero out stale counters before starting a fresh traffic measurement window, after which the device reports it back as unavailable(0) once the clear completes. For example, setting this to clear(1) before a bandwidth test ensures the subsequent packet counts reflect only the new test traffic.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-L3VLAN-MIB::hwVLANMibClearVidStatistics

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.100.1.2.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-L3VLAN-MIB::hwVLANMibClearVidStatistics.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.100.1.2.1.5.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> hwVLANMibClearVidStatistics.1
