What is hwL2IfDiscardUnknownMcast?
This read-write EnabledStatus controls whether the port drops unknown multicast packets: 1 discards them, 2 (default) forwards them normally. An admin sets it to discard(1) to stop flooding of multicast traffic with no matching group membership on that port.
