This read-write OCTET STRING is documented as the number of received packets on this MP link that were reordered, so despite its OCTET STRING type and dial-number-sounding name, the source description ties it to multilink packet reordering activity. An admin would check this value to gauge how much out-of-order delivery is occurring across the bundled channels, which can indicate channel latency mismatch. As an illustrative example, a high reordered-packet count relative to total traffic would suggest the member links in the bundle have uneven delay and may need rebalancing.
