hwDetectEngineNQAEnable

Module: HUAWEI-DETECT-ENGINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-DETECT-ENGINE-MIB::hwDetectEngineNQAEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.308.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: EnabledStatus

Access: read-write

Description: Globally enable or disable the detect-engine for nqa-rtp. If the hwDetectEngineNQAEnable is 1, detect-engine for nqa-rtp is enabled. If the hwDetectEngineNQAEnable is 2, detect-engine for nqa-rtp is disabled. By default, detect-engine for nqa-rtp is disabled.

What is hwDetectEngineNQAEnable?

This setting globally enables or disables the device's detect-engine capability for NQA-RTP (Network Quality Analysis, real-time performance monitoring), which is used to actively measure network performance metrics like delay and jitter. An administrator enables this specifically when they want to run NQA-based performance tests or monitoring on the device, since unlike the OAM detect-engine, this one defaults to disabled. With the documented default being disabled, an administrator must explicitly turn this on before NQA-RTP-based detection features become usable.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.308.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-DETECT-ENGINE-MIB::hwDetectEngineNQAEnable

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.308.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-DETECT-ENGINE-MIB::hwDetectEngineNQAEnable.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.308.1.1.2.1 s <value>
