What is hwMulticastInnerVlan?

This value sets the inner VLAN ID used in a double-tagged, or QinQ, multicast VLAN configuration, identifying the customer-facing VLAN tag nested inside the outer service-provider tag. Administrators configure it when setting up multicast VLAN service that needs to distinguish individual subscribers or subscriber groups behind a shared outer VLAN. For example, setting this to VLAN 10 identifies the inner customer VLAN carrying IPTV multicast traffic for a specific subscriber segment.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-BRAS-MVLAN-MIB::hwMulticastInnerVlan

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.40.14.1.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-BRAS-MVLAN-MIB::hwMulticastInnerVlan.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.40.14.1.1.1.2.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> hwMulticastInnerVlan.1
